Lately there has been much focus on disasters. We see the world, as we know it, crumble around us.
I know there is a shift going on. People who used to think we were nuts for choosing a lifestyle that didn't seem very convenient to most, are now much more open to finding out more about holistic health and there are many more truth seekers out there now, than even just a couple of years ago.
All that is great - but I'm really lacking the spunk to try to convert people these days. It's all old news to me, and I'm rather tired of repeating the same old story all the time. That is - I don't try to push my lifestyle on anyone, whether it's someone I really care for or "just" a stranger - but if someone comes asking - I'm all over it ;)
I've learnt that you can't change other people if they aren't motivated to change things for themselves. They need to either be hurting so much in their current lifestyle - or find a really compelling reason to experience great health - to be willing to switch paths and break free from bad habits and old beliefs.
A close friend of ours is battling cancer right now (a bad one) and it's really sad to know that if he had only been open to (and known about) health promoting food and habits he might not have been in such a dire state.
This guy is a really smart man, he has lots of love to give, children and a new wife. If the right kind of information had been available to him - maybe this cancer wouldn't have had to happen.
BUT, then again, maybe he hadn't. Maybe life was clicking on nicely, until it didn't anymore.
Let's hope that this shift that is taking place, will wake more people up, before it's too late. I wish health, love and happiness for all.
Here's a clip that is a bit too much for me. Too brutally honest. But maybe it wakes some people up?
